  • Port of Newark fell 22.24 percent compared to last year to $5.53 million.
  • Port of Long Beach rose 4908 percent compared to last year to $2.47 million.

Highlights for the top five foreign sources:

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 New Zealand increased $2.23 million, 8 percent, (73.49 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 China decreased $1.91 million, 39.54 percent, (7.13 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 Spain decreased $280,985, 12.24 percent, (4.93 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 Canada decreased $474,985, 20.51 percent, (4.5 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Vietnam decreased $699,285, 35.21 percent, (3.15 percent market share).

All totaled, 93.2 percent of all these Internal organs, fresh, chilled imports to the United States were shipped from the top five sources through August of this year. That is equal to $38.12 million of the $40.9 million total.
