  • Port of Virginia rose 14.6 percent compared to last year to $5.5 million.
  • Port of Los Angeles rose 69.45 percent compared to last year to $5.43 million.
  • Port of Newark fell 7.09 percent compared to last year to $5.4 million.

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 Australia increased $6.56 million, 39.63 percent, (42.24 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 Germany increased $2.38 million, 23.66 percent, (22.76 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 China decreased $703,573, 10.42 percent, (11.05 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 Austria increased $959,666, 50.91 percent, (5.2 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Bahrain increased $621,636, 31.92 percent, (4.7 percent market share).

All totaled, 85.94 percent of all these Aluminum powders, flakes imports to the United States were shipped from the top five sources through August of this year. That is equal to $47.03 million of the $54.72 million total.
