  • Low-Value border crossing cargo rose 61.26 percent compared to last year to $23.65 million.
  • Port of Virginia fell 11.31 percent compared to last year to $22.67 million.

Highlights for the top five foreign markets:

  • U.S. export to No. 1 Canada decreased $56.33 million, 17.97 percent, (57.02 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 2 Germany increased $8.01 million, 71.68 percent, (4.25 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 3 Australia decreased $2.59 million, 12.44 percent, (4.04 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 4 Mexico decreased $5.59 million, 25.22 percent, (3.67 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 5 Uruguay decreased $4.48 million, 25.76 percent, (2.86 percent market share).

All totaled, 71.85 percent of all these Lawn machinery exports from the United States were shipped to the top five markets through August of this year. That is equal to $324.07 million of the $451.01 million total.
