  • Newark Liberty International Airport, NJ rose 49.58 percent compared to last year to $437,839.
  • John F. Kennedy International Airport fell 58.28 percent compared to last year to $436,866.

There are several hundred airports, seaports and border crossings that handle international trade; they are, in turn, part of the roughly four dozen U.S. Customs districts.

Highlights for the top five foreign markets:

  • U.S. export to No. 1 Mexico decreased $67,811, 5.34 percent, (20.14 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 2 Germany increased $10,416, 0.98 percent, (17.92 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 3 India decreased $65,780, 7.69 percent, (13.23 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 4 Canada increased $15,466, 3.18 percent, (8.39 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 5 China increased $246,278, 127.18 percent, (7.37 percent market share).

All totaled, 67.04 percent of all these Glass enclosures exports from the United States were shipped to the top five markets through August of this year. That is equal to $4 million of the $5.97 million total.
