East Timor’s total trade with the United States was $1.96 million in June, a change of 515.94 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 761.58 percent and the change in imports was 304.63 percent. East Timor ranked No. 196 among U.S. trade partners in June. It had ranked No. 215 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in June were Chicken and other poultry, (2) Low-value shipments, and (3) Medical equipment for physicals. The top three U.S. imports from East Timor, also by value, were Coffee, (2) Cloves, and (3) Computer chips. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Chicken and other poultry, (2) Tarpaulins, sails, awnings, tents, etc., and (3) Men's or boys' overcoats. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Coffee, (2) Cloves, and (3) Printers, all types, parts.
