Kenya’s total trade with the United States was $107.56 million in December, a change of -16.52 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -66.02 percent and the change in imports was 57.30 percent. Kenya ranked No. 95 among U.S. trade partners in December. It had ranked No. 89 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in December were Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade, and (3) Returned exports, without change. The top three U.S. imports from Kenya, also by value, were Men's or boys' slacks, suits, not knit, (2) Titanium ores, concentrates, and (3) Returned exports, without change. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade, (2) Paper, paperboard scrap, and (3) Polymers of vinyl chloride. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Titanium ores, concentrates, (2) Men's or boys' slacks, suits, not knit, and (3) Iron or steel nails, tacks, drawing pins.
