Pakistan’s total trade with the United States was $680.52 million in March, a change of 16.72 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 33.55 percent and the change in imports was 8.64 percent. Pakistan ranked No. 55 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 61 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Cotton, (2) Scrap iron, steel, and (3) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade. The top three U.S. imports from Pakistan, also by value, were Linens for bed, bath and kitchen, (2) Women's or girls' suits, not knit, and (3) Men's or boys' slacks, suits, not knit. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Scrap iron, steel, (2) Cotton, and (3) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Various forms of salt, (2) Linens for bed, bath and kitchen, and (3) Articles from textile materials.
