Zambia’s total trade with the United States was $33.36 million in March, a change of 67.33 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 78.87 percent and the change in imports was 59.07 percent. Zambia ranked No. 124 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 146 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Motor vehicle parts, (2) Civilian aircraft, parts, and (3) Low-value shipments. The top three U.S. imports from Zambia, also by value, were Precious stones, (2) Coffee, and (3) Cobalt articles, including scrap. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Binders for molds, chemical products, (2) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade, and (3) Rubber tires. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Coffee, (2) Motor vehicle parts, and (3) Honey.
