Vanuatu’s total trade with the United States was $3.11 million in March, a change of 144.54 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 66.40 percent and the change in imports was 326.85 percent. Vanuatu ranked No. 190 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 200 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Low-value shipments, (2) Computers, and (3) Articles of cement, concrete, artificial stone. The top three U.S. imports from Vanuatu, also by value, were Plants for pharmacy, perfume, insecticides, (2) Estimates of low-value imports, and (3) Taps, valves for pipes. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Articles of cement, concrete, artificial stone, (2) Iron or steel tube or pipe fittings, and (3) Misc. iron or steel structures and parts. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Plants for pharmacy, perfume, insecticides, (2) Low-value shipments, and (3) Taps, valves for pipes.
