Thailand’s total trade with the United States was $6.8 billion in March, a change of 8.73 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 22.74 percent and the change in imports was 4.61 percent. Thailand ranked No. 17 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 18 for the same month last year.
The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Oil, (2) Plasma, vaccines, blood, and (3) Computer chips. The top three U.S. imports from Thailand, also by value, were Cell phones, related equipment, (2) Computers, and (3) Solar panels, etc.. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Oil, (2) LNG, other petroleum gases, and (3) Paper, paperboard scrap. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Rubber tires, (2) Rice, and (3) Solar panels, etc..
