Tajikistan’s total trade with the United States was $1.38 million in March, a change of -16.76 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -19.58 percent and the change in imports was 306.42 percent. Tajikistan ranked No. 201 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 197 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Industrial manufacturing materials, (2) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade, and (3) Returned exports, with change. The top three U.S. imports from Tajikistan, also by value, were Miscellaneous electrical machinery, (2) Returned exports, without change, and (3) Carnival art. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade, (2) Returned exports, with change, and (3) Industrial manufacturing materials. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Fruit, nuts, prepared or preserved, (2) Carnival art, and (3) Wood marquetry, inlaid wood.
