Senegal’s total trade with the United States was $43.6 million in March, a change of 12.10 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -17.81 percent and the change in imports was 122.41 percent. Senegal ranked No. 119 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 122 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Passenger vehicles, (2) Potassic fertilizers, and (3) Plastics. The top three U.S. imports from Senegal, also by value, were Caviar, caviar substitutes, other prepared fish, (2) Titanium ores, concentrates, and (3) Wigs, other products, from human hair. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Potassic fertilizers, (2) Plastics, and (3) Polymers of vinyl chloride. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Titanium ores, concentrates, (2) Caviar, caviar substitutes, other prepared fish, and (3) Gasoline, other fuels.
