Norway’s total trade with the United States was $797.73 million in March, a change of -15.26 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -19.55 percent and the change in imports was -11.31 percent. Norway ranked No. 51 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 51 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Acyclic hydrocarbons, and (3) Low-value shipments. The top three U.S. imports from Norway, also by value, were Fish fillets, chilled or frozen, (2) Returned exports, without change, and (3) Sutures, dental cements, etc.. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Acyclic hydrocarbons, (2) Gasoline, other fuels, and (3) Petroleum products. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Nitrogenous fertilizers, and (3) Residual lyes from wood pulp.
