The change in exports was 33.17 percent and the change in imports was -7.28 percent. Malaysia ranked No. 18 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 20 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. imports from Malaysia, also by value, were Computer chips, (2) Solar panels, etc., and (3) Cell phones, related equipment. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Oil, (2) Paper, paperboard scrap, and (3) Coal, briquettes. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Solar panels, etc., (2) Furniture, parts, and (3) Ferroalloys.
