Iceland’s total trade with the United States was $118.04 million in March, a change of 21.57 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 38.34 percent and the change in imports was 14.10 percent. Iceland ranked No. 95 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 99 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Computers, (2) Low-value shipments, and (3) Silicones. The top three U.S. imports from Iceland, also by value, were Fish fillets, chilled or frozen, (2) Artificial knees, hips, etc., and (3) Natural waters. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Sauces and mixed condiments, (2) Cassava, arrowroot, fresh or dry, and (3) Misc. vegetables, not frozen. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Natural waters, (2) Fish fillets, chilled or frozen, and (3) Ferroalloys.
