Brunei’s total trade with the United States was $20.23 million in March, a change of -1.48 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -40.92 percent and the change in imports was 144.44 percent. Brunei ranked No. 140 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 144 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Misc. engines and motors, parts, and (3) Transmission shafts, bearings, gears. The top three U.S. imports from Brunei, also by value, were Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Returned exports, without change, and (3) Misc. iron or steel structures and parts. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Hay, including alfalfa hay, etc., (2) Potatoes, prepared, frozen, and (3) Oranges, grapefruit, other citrus. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Misc. iron or steel structures and parts, and (3) Miscellaneous machines, parts.
