The change in exports was 14.96 percent and the change in imports was 346.47 percent. British Virgin Islands ranked No. 128 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 141 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Low-value shipments, and (3) Cell phones, related equipment. The top three U.S. imports from British Virgin Islands, also by value, were Returned exports, without change, (2) Diamonds, not mounted, and (3) Precious stones. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Portland, aluminous and slag cement, and (3) Articles of cement, concrete, artificial stone. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Returned exports, without change, (2) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, and (3) Paper, uncoated, for writing.
