Barbados’s total trade with the United States was $84.47 million in March, a change of 10.22 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 11.60 percent and the change in imports was -10.44 percent. Barbados ranked No. 102 among U.S. trade partners in March. It had ranked No. 106 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in March were Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Low-value shipments, and (3) Cell phones, related equipment. The top three U.S. imports from Barbados, also by value, were Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, (2) Medical technology, and (3) Artificial knees, hips, etc.. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Wheat, and (3) Soybeans. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, (2) Bread, pastry, cakes, and (3) Copper waste and scrap.
