  • Cleveland's Hopkins International Airport, OH rose 12.71 percent compared to last year to $31.12 million.

There are several hundred airports, seaports and border crossings that handle international trade; they are, in turn, part of the roughly four dozen U.S. Customs districts.

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 Japan increased $8.81 million, 3.99 percent, (35.06 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 Mexico decreased $29.27 million, 19.24 percent, (18.74 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 Germany decreased $81.56 million, 60.17 percent, (8.23 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 China decreased $14.13 million, 23.48 percent, (7.02 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Poland increased $9.18 million, 30.47 percent, (5.99 percent market share).

All totaled, 75.05 percent of all these Ceramic lab supplies imports to the United States were shipped from the top five sources through August of this year. That is equal to $492.18 million of the $655.79 million total.
