New Caledonia’s total trade with the United States was $7.89 million in June, a change of -62.92 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -67.23 percent and the change in imports was -53.71 percent. New Caledonia ranked No. 168 among U.S. trade partners in June. It had ranked No. 134 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in June were Chicken and other poultry, (2) Commercial vehicles, and (3) Low-value shipments. The top three U.S. imports from New Caledonia, also by value, were Ferroalloys, (2) Nickel Waste and Scrap, and (3) Shrimp, other crustaceans. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Chicken and other poultry, (2) Misc. cements, mortars, concretes, and (3) Fruit, nuts, prepared or preserved. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Ferroalloys, (2) Nickel Waste and Scrap, and (3) Shrimp, other crustaceans.
