The change in exports was -9.02 percent and the change in imports was 2.22 percent. Mongolia ranked No. 155 among U.S. trade partners in September. It had ranked No. 149 for the same month last year.
The top three U.S. exports by value in September were Rubber tires, (2) Passenger vehicles, and (3) Civilian aircraft, parts. The top three U.S. imports from Mongolia, also by value, were Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, etc., (2) Tungsten ores, concentrates, and (3) Sweaters, pullovers, vests, knit or crocheted. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Rubber tires, (2) Passenger vehicles, and (3) Antifreeze and related fluids. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, etc., (2) Tungsten ores, concentrates, and (3) Diesel engines.
