  • Port of Seattle, WA fell 6.01 percent compared to last year to $52 million.

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 Turkey increased $2.92 million, 0.91 percent, (27.27 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 Canada decreased $36.02 million, 10.04 percent, (27.17 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 Vietnam decreased $7.38 million, 4.63 percent, (12.81 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 Mexico decreased $28.77 million, 26.9 percent, (6.58 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Greece decreased $30.99 million, 40.11 percent, (3.89 percent market share).

All totaled, 77.73 percent of all these Portland, aluminous and slag cement imports to the United States were shipped from the top five sources through August of this year. That is equal to $923.48 million of the $1.19 billion total.
