  • Port of Baltimore, MD rose 312.16 percent compared to last year to $1.56 million.
  • Port of Chester, PA rose 18.03 percent compared to last year to $1.37 million.

Highlights for the top five foreign sources:

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 Jordan increased $7.29 million, 214.02 percent, (39.47 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 India decreased $297,680, 5.79 percent, (17.87 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 China decreased $93,985, 2.73 percent, (12.34 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 Japan increased $1.87 million, 211.55 percent, (10.14 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Germany increased $268,663, 12.55 percent, (8.89 percent market share).

All totaled, 88.72 percent of all these Halogenated phenols imports to the United States were shipped from the top five sources through August of this year. That is equal to $24.04 million of the $27.09 million total.
