  • Sumas, Border Crossing, WA rose 15.26 percent compared to last year to $5.79 million.
  • Port Huron Blue Water Bridge, MI rose 63.16 percent compared to last year to $5.34 million.

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 Canada decreased $5.34 million, 7.14 percent, (77.5 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 Mexico decreased $135,632, 3.01 percent, (4.88 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 Latvia increased $1.97 million, 92.3 percent, (4.58 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 France increased $514,650, 19.45 percent, (3.53 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Estonia increased $1.22 million, 139.06 percent, (2.34 percent market share).

All totaled, 92.83 percent of all these Fuel wood in logs, chips imports to the United States were shipped from the top five sources through August of this year. That is equal to $83.18 million of the $89.61 million total.
