  • Port of Savannah, GA fell 6.91 percent compared to last year to $6.53 million.
  • Port of Virginia rose 31.04 percent compared to last year to $5.3 million.
  • Chicago O'Hare International Airport rose 10.32 percent compared to last year to $4.89 million.

There are several hundred airports, seaports and border crossings that handle international trade; they are, in turn, part of the roughly four dozen U.S. Customs districts.

Highlights for the top five foreign sources:

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 Germany decreased $1.07 million, 5.94 percent, (23.74 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 Italy increased $609,610, 5.68 percent, (15.93 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 The Netherlands decreased $1.81 million, 18.73 percent, (11.03 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 China decreased $3.07 million, 32.54 percent, (8.94 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Switzerland increased $264,384, 5.95 percent, (6.61 percent market share).
