  • Port of Houston rose 51.01 percent compared to last year to $1.43 million.
  • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport rose 0.39 percent compared to last year to $831,694.
  • Port of Los Angeles rose 1.72 percent compared to last year to $773,765.

There are several hundred airports, seaports and border crossings that handle international trade; they are, in turn, part of the roughly four dozen U.S. Customs districts.

Highlights for the top five foreign sources:

  • U.S. imports from No. 1 Brazil increased $476,258, 9.06 percent, (40.73 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 2 Colombia increased $404,895, 36.84 percent, (10.69 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 3 Italy increased $207,373, 21.05 percent, (8.48 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 4 Greece decreased $299,416, 22.82 percent, (7.2 percent market share).
  • U.S. imports from No. 5 Turkey increased $161,941, 25.44 percent, (5.68 percent market share).
