- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport rose 47.12 percent compared to last year to $51.05 million.
- Port of Houston rose 32.05 percent compared to last year to $37.88 million.

Highlights for the top five foreign sources:
- U.S. imports from No. 1 Germany decreased $24.52 million, 19.04 percent, (14.42 percent market share).
- U.S. imports from No. 2 Mexico increased $4.89 million, 5.13 percent, (13.87 percent market share).
- U.S. imports from No. 3 Japan decreased $18.85 million, 15.88 percent, (13.81 percent market share).
- U.S. imports from No. 4 France increased $25.28 million, 42.43 percent, (11.74 percent market share).
- U.S. imports from No. 5 South Korea decreased $36.17 million, 36.41 percent, (8.74 percent market share).
All totaled, 62.56 percent of all these Articles of stone, minerals imports to the United States were shipped from the top five sources through August of this year. That is equal to $452.35 million of the $723.03 million total.
