  • Pharr International Bridge in TX rose 17.69 percent compared to last year to $4.28 million.

Highlights for the top five foreign markets:

  • U.S. export to No. 1 Mexico increased $16.03 million, 21.95 percent, (71.52 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 2 Canada increased $639,765, 8.11 percent, (6.85 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 3 Guatemala increased $1.4 million, 21.21 percent, (6.41 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 4 Saudi Arabia increased $3.91 million, 496.43 percent, (3.77 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 5 China decreased $323,316, 13.57 percent, (1.65 percent market share).

All totaled, 90.21 percent of all these Misc. knit fabrics exports from the United States were shipped to the top five markets through August of this year. That is equal to $112.33 million of the $124.52 million total.
