Among more than 1,260 commodity classifications, Cotton ranked No. 40 in February. It had ranked No. 42 for the same month last year.
While Cotton ranked No. 40 in February by value, it ranked No. 24 by tonnage. The top three U.S. markets by value for Cotton exports in February were (1) China, (2) Vietnam, and (3) Pakistan. Among the nation's more than 450 airports, seaports and border crossings, the top three by value were (1) Oil, (2) Civilian aircraft, parts, and (3) Gasoline, other fuels.
