U.S. exports of Prepared driers increased 4.12 percent through August to $7.23 million

In the last previous full year, the leading markets were No. 1 Mexico, No. 2 India, No. 3 Canada, No. 4 Brazil and No. 5 Spain. The leading markets were No. 1 Port of New York, No. 2 Calexico/Mexicali (East) Border Crossing, CA, No. 3 Port Laredo, No. 4 Port of Virginia and No. 5 Buffalo Peace Bridge, NY.

  • Port Laredo fell 27.64 percent compared to last year to $553,248.
  • Buffalo Peace Bridge, NY fell 3.23 percent compared to last year to $480,121.

  • U.S. export to No. 1 India increased $234,577, 13.01 percent, (28.18 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 2 Mexico decreased $854,246, 33.74 percent, (23.2 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 3 Canada increased $387,402, 44.01 percent, (17.53 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 4 Taiwan increased $232,903, 143.17 percent, (5.47 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 5 China increased $127,921, 76.31 percent, (4.09 percent market share).

All totaled, 78.48 percent of all these Prepared driers exports from the United States were shipped to the top five markets through August of this year. That is equal to $5.67 million of the $7.23 million total.
