U.S. exports of Natural gas, LNG totaled $4.93 billion in August, a change of -1.06 percent from the same month one year ago. The change from one month ago was -2.54 percent. Among more than 1,260 commodity classifications, Natural gas, LNG ranked No. 8 in August. It had ranked No. 5 for the same month last year.

While Natural gas, LNG ranked No. 8 in August by value, it ranked No. 2 by tonnage. The top three U.S. markets by value for Natural gas, LNG exports in August were (1) Japan, (2) China, and (3) Mexico. Among the nation's more than 450 airports, seaports and border crossings, the top three by value were (1) Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Gasoline, other fuels, and (3) Oil.
