U.S. exports of Low-value shipments totaled $4.63 billion in February, a change of 3.52 percent from the same month one year ago. The change from one month ago was 17.74 percent. Among more than 1,260 commodity classifications, Low-value shipments ranked No. 5 in February. It had ranked No. 6 for the same month last year.
While Low-value shipments ranked No. 5 in February by value, it ranked No. 1219 by tonnage. The top three U.S. markets by value for Low-value shipments exports in February were (1) Canada, (2) Mexico, and (3) United Kingdom. Among the nation's more than 450 airports, seaports and border crossings, the top three by value were (1) Oil, (2) Civilian aircraft, parts, and (3) Gasoline, other fuels.
