  • John F. Kennedy International Airport fell 18.17 percent compared to last year to $1.97 million.

There are several hundred airports, seaports and border crossings that handle international trade; they are, in turn, part of the roughly four dozen U.S. Customs districts.

Highlights for the top five foreign markets:

  • U.S. export to No. 1 Canada increased $241,759, 2.69 percent, (21.19 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 2 United Kingdom decreased $800,909, 8.72 percent, (19.25 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 3 Germany decreased $5.08 million, 48.38 percent, (12.45 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 4 France decreased $2.16 million, 35.14 percent, (9.17 percent market share).
  • U.S. export to No. 5 China increased $1.76 million, 101.66 percent, (8.03 percent market share).

All totaled, 70.09 percent of all these Glass beads exports from the United States were shipped to the top five markets through August of this year. That is equal to $30.53 million of the $43.56 million total.
