Among more than 1,260 commodity classifications, Computer chips ranked No. 6 in August. It had ranked No. 9 for the same month last year.

While Computer chips ranked No. 6 in August by value, it ranked No. 403 by tonnage. The top three U.S. markets by value for Computer chips exports in August were (1) Malaysia, (2) Mexico, and (3) China.
