Uganda’s total trade with the United States was $44.1 million in June, a change of 228.44 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 535.04 percent and the change in imports was 34.02 percent. Uganda ranked No. 113 among U.S. trade partners in June. It had ranked No. 156 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in June were Plasma, vaccines, blood, (2) Civilian aircraft, parts, and (3) Computers. The top three U.S. imports from Uganda, also by value, were Coffee, (2) Vanilla Beans, and (3) Casein, caseinates, derivatives. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Paper, paperboard scrap, (2) Plastics, and (3) Worn clothing, textiles. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Coffee, (2) Insulation made from mineral wools, and (3) Oil seeds, misc. oleaginous fruits.
