Palau’s total trade with the United States was $2.69 million in February, a change of 126.40 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 71.55 percent and the change in imports was 2,570.02 percent. Palau ranked No. 190 among U.S. trade partners in February. It had ranked No. 199 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in February were Prepared foods, beverages, (2) Low-value shipments, and (3) Firearms other than handguns. The top three U.S. imports from Palau, also by value, were Misc. vessels, including warships, lifeboats, (2) Returned exports, without change, and (3) Live fish. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Prepared foods, beverages, (2) Chicken and other poultry, and (3) Sawed, chipped wood >6MM thick. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Misc. vessels, including warships, lifeboats, (2) Returned exports, without change, and (3) Live fish.
