The change in exports was 107.47 percent and the change in imports was -30.76 percent. Latvia ranked No. 85 among U.S. trade partners in July. It had ranked No. 93 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in July were Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, and (3) Parts for heavy machinery. The top three U.S. imports from Latvia, also by value, were Particle board, (2) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, and (3) Returned exports, without change. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Chicken and other poultry, (2) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, and (3) Misc. clays. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Particle board, (2) Fuel wood in logs, chips, and (3) Peat.
