Latvia’s total trade with the United States was $155.24 million in February, a change of 116.07 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 307.98 percent and the change in imports was 1.79 percent. Latvia ranked No. 85 among U.S. trade partners in February. It had ranked No. 100 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in February were Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, and (3) Cell phones, related equipment. The top three U.S. imports from Latvia, also by value, were Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, (2) Particle board, and (3) Laser-based medical equipment, parts. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Plastics, (2) Chicken and other poultry, and (3) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Particle board, (2) Peat, and (3) Sawed, chipped wood >6MM thick.
