Thailand’s total trade with the United States was $6.1 billion in January, a change of -0.27 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 8.50 percent and the change in imports was -2.39 percent. Thailand ranked No. 18 among U.S. trade partners in January. It had ranked No. 18 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in January were Oil, (2) Computer chips, and (3) Cell phones, related equipment. The top three U.S. imports from Thailand, also by value, were Cell phones, related equipment, (2) Computers, and (3) Solar panels, etc.. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Oil, (2) Paper, paperboard scrap, and (3) LNG, other petroleum gases. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Rubber tires, (2) Solar panels, etc., and (3) Rice.
