Uganda’s total trade with the United States was $23.76 million in January, a change of -6.27 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 84.77 percent and the change in imports was -58.78 percent. Uganda ranked No. 133 among U.S. trade partners in January. It had ranked No. 132 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in January were Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Parachutes, and (3) Computers. The top three U.S. imports from Uganda, also by value, were Coffee, (2) Soybean oilcake, and (3) Vanilla Beans. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Plastics, (2) Worn clothing, textiles, and (3) Tractors. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Soybean oilcake, (2) Coffee, and (3) Misc. mineral substances.
