Tanzania’s total trade with the United States was $48.44 million in February, a change of 60.63 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 115.13 percent and the change in imports was 11.72 percent. Tanzania ranked No. 115 among U.S. trade partners in February. It had ranked No. 120 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in February were Wheat, (2) Diesel engines, and (3) Civilian aircraft, parts. The top three U.S. imports from Tanzania, also by value, were T-shirts, tank tops, knit or crocheted, (2) Coffee, and (3) Men's or boys' shirts, knitted or crocheted. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Wheat, (2) Plastics, and (3) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Coffee, (2) Plastic waste, scrap, and (3) T-shirts, tank tops, knit or crocheted.
