St Lucia’s total trade with the United States was $19.82 million in January, a change of -73.23 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -73.37 percent and the change in imports was -50.54 percent. St Lucia ranked No. 140 among U.S. trade partners in January. It had ranked No. 100 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in January were Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Low-value shipments, and (3) Aluminum foil, less than 0.2 mm thick. The top three U.S. imports from St Lucia, also by value, were Foliage, grasses for bouquets, (2) Locust beans, seaweed, sugar beets and sugar cane, and (3) Estimates of low-value imports. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Chicken and other poultry, and (3) Sawed, chipped wood >6MM thick. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Scrap iron, steel, (2) , and (3) Returned exports, without change.
