Slovenia’s total trade with the United States was $548.77 million in January, a change of 55.79 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -9.11 percent and the change in imports was 59.40 percent. Slovenia ranked No. 60 among U.S. trade partners in January. It had ranked No. 73 for the same month last year.
The top three U.S. exports by value in January were Electrical boards, panels and switches, (2) Medicines in individual dosages, and (3) Medical equipment for physicals. The top three U.S. imports from Slovenia, also by value, were Medicines in individual dosages, (2) Woodworking machine tools, etc., and (3) Lifting, loading machines. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Nylon, polyester, other polyamides, (2) Gasoline, other fuels, and (3) Waste of manmade fibers. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Misc. steel bars, (2) Ice cream and other edible ice, and (3) Nylon, polyester, other polyamides.
