Panama’s total trade with the United States was $901.74 million in February, a change of 3.25 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 3.66 percent and the change in imports was -5.61 percent. Panama ranked No. 46 among U.S. trade partners in February. It had ranked No. 47 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in February were Gasoline, other fuels, (2) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, and (3) Oil. The top three U.S. imports from Panama, also by value, were Returned exports, without change, (2) Scrap of precious metal, and (3) Fish, fresh or chilled. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Gasoline, other fuels, (2) LNG, other petroleum gases, and (3) Oil. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Returned exports, without change, (2) Rum, gin, vodka, other liquors, and (3) Aluminum waste and scrap.
