Luxembourg’s total trade with the United States was $178.24 million in February, a change of -1.99 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was -8.49 percent and the change in imports was 16.04 percent. Luxembourg ranked No. 83 among U.S. trade partners in February. It had ranked No. 81 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in February were Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Aircraft engines, parts, and (3) Misc. medical chemical re-agents. The top three U.S. imports from Luxembourg, also by value, were Angles, shapes, sections, iron and nonalloy steel, (2) Returned exports, without change, and (3) Non-woven fabric. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Plastic plates, sheet, film, (2) Caulking compounds, glaziers putty, and (3) Rubber tires. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Angles, shapes, sections, iron and nonalloy steel, (2) Iron or steel welded angles, and (3) Particle board.
