Czech Republic’s total trade with the United States was $1.06 billion in January, a change of 9.87 percent from the same month one year ago. The change in exports was 25.22 percent and the change in imports was 0.80 percent. Czech Republic ranked No. 44 among U.S. trade partners in January. It had ranked No. 45 for the same month last year.

The top three U.S. exports by value in January were Civilian aircraft, parts, (2) Computers, and (3) Satellites, related equipment. The top three U.S. imports from Czech Republic, also by value, were Cell phones, related equipment, (2) Self-propelled construction machinery, and (3) Motor vehicle parts. By tonnage, the top three U.S. exports were (1) Kaolin-coated paper, paperboard, (2) Wood pulp, not dissolving grade, and (3) Chemical wood pulp, dissolving grades. The top three U.S. imports, also by tonnage, were (1) Motor vehicle parts, (2) Sawed, chipped wood >6MM thick, and (3) Self-propelled construction machinery.
